I have a nice weekend ahead of me. A trip to Temse in Belgium for the masterclass of Anna Mazon. She is with Inge Verbruggen this month, now an annual trip for her.
Unfortunately Renske has other obligations, so I share a room with Shirley Wouters of "Aware Jewels" from Uithoorn. Of course again in the homely B&B in the Nijsstraat of Temse.
Shirley and I have arranged for the carpoolplace "De Staart" near Houten. Michael needs the car this weekend, so he drives me that way in the morning. After the proverbial transfer, he goes back home and we drive our ride to Temse. Well, with an extra detour, we miss the first connection to the highway ;-)
The rest of the trip goes smoothly and quickly. There is no particularly busy traffic. We even have enough time for two stops, to have a nice cup of coffee and tea. At 9.30 am we walk into the workshop room in time. With a cozy club of enthusiastic ladies we work on the basis of this master project, the Night Scene Pendant. And so there is always boss above boss, our Kathy van der Elst makes 2 more at once. I do not know her otherwise, hahaha.

After dinner, Shirley and I go to B&B "De Brug". A little more talk and then enjoy a wonderful night's sleep.

We’re working hard, the pace is good, even for Shirley and me. In general, we take the unfired pieces home afterwards. We will then continue working on them. What is that about? Are we too precise, or does our work pace have to go up? Secretly I think it's just a mindset. After all, this time we’ve decided to take home the finished piece of jewelry and this time and we will succeed! And guess what? At 17.00 we have said goodbye and we get into the car with our pendants.
Shirley, thanks that I was allowed to ride with you and share a room.
Thank you Anna, for sharing your metal clay skills.
Inge, you for the good organization before and during this masterclass and all those present for the cozy cooperation these days !
