Last Level before Higher Level

This weekend Greet de Rooij of "Syrla" from Oud-Gastel and Rixt Baas of "Rixt Sieraden" from Utrecht met in Harderwijk. Both come as a course participant for the Art Clay Silver Instructor Training Level 2, the precursor to the Higher Level.

I welcome Greet for the the 3rd time this year. In January, she already visited Studio "Nevada's Dream" for Level 1 and May for UV Resin.

Rixt has completed her Level 1 in July 2016 and now brings her 2nd visit. And just like in January, Greet cozy stays overnight.

Both ladies have plenty capabilities, therewith designing beautiful jewelry. They match well in this training. Hard work alternates with sharing ideas and techniques.

We maintain a fairly tight schedule. This is necessary, otherwise we won’t be able to finish the workpieces completely. So at first glance it seems easily feasible to create "only" four pieces these two days. Yet misjudged by most students, the designs are more complex than the projects from Level 1. A jewelry includes several techniques and some of them are pretty time consuming.

They are back home and I’m cleaning up my empty studio. In less than an hour, the traces of their charming presence are vanished. I've enjoyed it! Getting so much energy of these creative days.

Dear girls, you made beautiful jewelry.
I proudly show pictures of the results of this past weekend.
Thanks for your efforts, the pleasant conversations and delicious treats.
I wish you every success with your Higher Level, this seems to me an achievable goal for 2017.
Let us soon plan an Art Clay Silver date, I'm already looking forward to it!
