This day Renske is prevented, so I decide to pick up Shirley at her house and drive together to Edith. On this route we pass the greenhouses of John Warmerdam. Besides succulent plants, he also sells seashells for a very reasonable price. That deserves a shopping moment, which means that we arrive fashionably late (as Shirley calls it) at Edith, who has already coffee and tea.
We enjoy luxury chocolate bonbons, chocolate truffles and a delicious lunch. Everything is available in plenty and even the entertainment is taken care of. For this, Edith gratefully uses her sweet animals, the dogs, the cat and the adorable alpacas. So nice to see how curious they follow everything from the garden. They stand in front of the facade of the studio space and remain aware of everything.
Dear Edith, thanks for your hospitality. You have a beautiful, inviting studio. In the new year we again plan a date and hope Renske won’t be missed. Up to 2015 with the wish for a beautiful, loving, happy, creative and successful year for everyone!
